Broadcast applications

Video / Audio distribution networks: With capacity in Ku and C-band stretching across the Pacific Ocean and covering Asia, Australia, Japan, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands, GE-23 is ideally positioned to distribute video and audio to any location in this large region.
Direct to home (DTH) services: At 172 degrees East, GE-23 has sufficient capacity to grow existing DTH networks broadcasting in the Pacific region. Capacity is switchable and possibilities exist to deliver content into the Pacific from the US and even further afield.
Occasional Use services: The wide coverage and availability of GE-23 provides the best platform for SNG and occasional use across the Pacific region.
